Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Agrafa, of which it is a municipal unit.〔(Kallikratis law ) Greece Ministry of Interior 〕 Population 2,729 (2001). The seat of the municipality was in Raptopoulo. Aetolia-Acarnania is to the west and the Karditsa regional unit to the north.
